Polishing Sterling Silver... With Toothpaste?

 I recently received a sterling silver necklace Tiffanys, and it is already starting to hurt. A few weeks ago, I polished necklace with untangle own jewelry, but she did not much.

 I used toothpaste on the same necklace for about 3 years now. It still looks new every time.

Exhibit dedicated to memory of artist who lost cancer battle

Cleveland Community College presents Chi by Minerva Synergy at the Pennington-McIntyre Art Gallery commencement Wednesday, Nov. 9, with a reception from 4-6 p.m. Chi by Minerva Synergy is a resident group of female artists who began meeting and supporting each other more than 10 years ago. Today, they remain to master their crafts while inviting other female artist in the community to extend to them.

This exhibit has special meaning to all involved because it is being dedicated in memory of character Minerva Synergy member, Tawanna Padgett, who lost her brawl with cancer on Oct. 30.

The artists will be available during the reception.

The Chi by Minerva Synergy evidence is free and open to the public Monday-Thursday, from 8 a.m.-9 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

About the participating artists:

Artist Violet Arth currently serves as Marketing Coordinator at the Cleveland County Arts Panel in Shelby and enjoys creating modern, ceramic jewelry in her award time. Arth received a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing from Appalachian Majestic University with a minor in Fine Arts. She has been selling her handmade business in art galleries the past four years. Each piece of jewelry is made from white ceramic clay and painted with underglazes. A closing coat of clear glaze is applied before being made and all pieces are lead-unrestrained.
