Does real sterling silver ever leave a mark on your finger?

 i bought a legitimate ring sterling and announced he was "sterling" stamped on the underside, but its still a trace faded on my finger. Is it perhaps because it is new and respond w / my blade?

 It is not official so ... sorry you were ripped off like this.

The initials LCW appear below the sterling mark on an antique necklace who or what do they represent?

 The describe the maker. Too bad they arent LCT. Then you would have a Tiffany express one's opinion. You can go to the library and research heraldry argent makers and probably find out who it is. Is it hallmarked? Then you can friend it. Pax - C
