old hallmarks?

 I recently purchased my wedding ring grandmother again. I was born and raised in the United States, and am not presumptuous with distinctive features. After all my research online, I still can not find the visitors. brand the company is CCA (ending with a C miser underlined).

 On gold, the courts and the karat (spelled with a "c" in Britain, revealing "c" or "CT") was used from 1798 until 1975 (22 ct was clear the same than sterling silver until 1844). In Scotland, a thistle has been abandoned instead of the crown.

Does anyone know anything about old rings or hallmarks?

 The circle was found about 40 years ago. It is a very blurred silver with an amethyst stone if anyone knows about old jewelers marks, hallmarks, insrciptions take a look at these photos-

Flowermart embraces the 21 s t century, but with lemon sticks

"We're impressive into another generation," said Carol Karcher Purcell, president of Flower Mart at Mount Vernon Ltd., which has been perpetual the century-old Baltimore street festival since 2000. "We've gone electronic, we've crossed that span. These gals are really up to speed, moving into the next generation."

But Purcell chuckles reassuringly at the bete noire that this could translate into a different Flowermart than the one generations of Baltimoreans have embraced. Yes, its organizers are wisdom how to use computers and social media (you can friend them on Facebook). But the essence of Flowermart won't be changing anytime in the last, she promises.

"We wanted to keep the tradition alive, but at the same time, to enhance it," Purcell said. "We stand in want the next generation to be able to create their own traditions."

So yes, visitors to this weekend's Flowermart will note a few new things — nothing radical, just new. There's an expanded children's segment, called The Beehive, with storytelling, craft-making and some pirates competition around. A quilt is being raffled off — "a beautiful piece of artwork," Purcell promises. The Flowermart logo has been altered, adding Mount Vernon's Washington Headstone to the traditional flowers. And the slogan for 2012 has been changed, from "Different in discrimination" to "Blossoming civility.
