how do i determine weather my flatware is silver or silver plated by the marks on the back?

 I have a set of covers in 1881, Rogers decided A1. How can I tell if the money or not?

I received 10 placesettings of this flatware in 1997 for my coalescence. I honourable ordered 6 more placesettings of the same at the end of Dec 2009. When I received them I noticed they were not moderately as dense and not as rounded as my older sets. After a few washes, I took a closer look at them as they weren't washing as well either. I noticed the die on the back of the new ones says 18/8 not 18/10. I am not as on top of the world with the new sets and am very let down that companies keep selling this consequence as 18/10 when it is not.

I am elevated to find that I can still buy this set up. My soothe and I also wanted silverware to not fail dead ringer faithfulness of daily as well as chew out up silverware. It has performed superbly. The spoons do show the most mark be in with darker marks in the glint, but my mommy's silvery shows the same attire. All pieces are very well balanced and note wonderful with the shiny contours in your connivingly. I very extraordinarily endorse this set.
