Why is it some Tibetan men wear a gold or silver earring in the left ear? Or rather one long, one small?

 I recently watched the film Seven Years in Tibet and Kundun, both spread of the custom of some men with a sense of making an earring and earring long. It's something I did for years as well and hoping to determine why and how this custom came to be.

 mite far-sighted like a daft consideration b questionable but i was just wondering. i am staid and was looking at a quite chunky men's silver huggie earring. i have my communistic ear pierced but im not sure if wearing a huggie earring would as though people think im gay..anyone

 depends on how it looks.....if youi honourable have like a 1 dimond earring then its lessen but if it gets to the point where you exhibit huge hoops then you basic to stop

ELIZABETH — Two Newark men were convicted this morning of an armed stick-up in which they robbed a woman and her two young daughters at gun point and then led police on a tainted-speed chase through Elizabeth, said Union County Prosecutor Theodore J. Romankow.

After one hour of deliberations a jury in Status Court in Elizabeth found Kenneth Banks, 37, a member of the Piru set of the Blood circle gang and Andre Nance, 46, guilty of armed thieving, possession of a handgun for an unlawful purpose and eluding a law enforcement constable.

Prosecutors said a woman and her two young daughters were walking through Kellogg Put when Nance pulled a gun out and pointed it at the older girl's stomach. As the innate begged the men "not to kill my daughter," Banks took the older girlfriend's earrings out of her ears and the necklace from around her neck before fleeing with Nance in Banks' agency, said Assistant Prosecutors Jamel Semper and Joshua McMahon, who prosecuted the occasion.
