Tiffany and Co. Stirling Silver ring caused my finger to turn green..is that possible?

 I am the ring yesterday and did not attract OFF until this morning and I noticed a green ring around my finger. I went to the Tiffany's layaway to buy and I know this is not a pretender and he says his sterling silver. Should I reciprocity to come home and he complain?
